Aircraft wind vane model B 17 Flying Fortress, garden decoration and collectible.
Aircraft history:
The Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress is a four-engine heavy bomber developed in the 1930s used primarily by the United States Army Air Forces in strategic daytime bombing campaigns against industrial, civilian and military targets during World War II.
It became an icon of Allied air power already during the conflict, it gained a reputation for being a very effective and reliable weapon system capable of defending itself and returning to base despite extensive damage. Numerous stories or photos of specimens hit by fighter planes or by enemy flak, but still able to fly, only increased his legend in the collective imagination.
The B-17 is considered the first aircraft to be produced in large quantities, and to subsequently evolve into numerous variants.

Our History:
“Air Hunter” small objects made to beautify the garden, but which are actually real wind turbines. Entirely built in Italy with first choice materials, our products are made of stainless steel and aluminum. The integrated ball bearings ensure a smooth prop rotation even with light breezes (360 ° swivel). Another special feature is the coloring of the surfaces. Each single print is in fact finished by hand, creating vintage shades and retouches that make it unique and unrepeatable. Air Hunter is assembled manually and with attention to detail. We supply the product already assembled, only the propeller and the aluminum shaft remain to be assembled. To put the windmill into operation, simply drive the support rod into the ground or attach it to the balcony railing with the supplied zip-ties, the wind will do the rest. To obtain maximum performance, it is advisable to position the support as perpendicular as possible to the ground itself, possibly with the aid of a level. The product is made to withstand bad weather such as intense rain and wind. It is not recommended to use it in saline environments which could compromise its performance.
When you look at our products close your eyes for a moment and imagine that they are designed, painted, assembled and packed in our family ranch, a small wooden house hidden among the trees and smelling of pine. Our air hunters are not simple wind indicators, but collectibles that will last over time and that will give an original touch to your garden.
