Wind spinner aircraft faithful reproduction of Avro 683 Lancaster

Aircraft wind vane model Avro Lancaster, garden decoration and collectible.

Aircraft history:

Told by a special customer through a real story, we thank Clark for inspiring us to create this amazing machine:

“It was a Lancaster scout, flown by the best of the best. They flew over Holland and fired their flares, turned around and got hit by flak, tried to get home but were intercepted by a Luftwaffe night fighter. They believe it was Rudolf Sigmund (German ace) who shot them down. They ended up crashing into a lake at about 300 miles per hour and unfortunately all of them lost their lives that night.

About 4 of them were found washed up on the shore a few days later and were buried in a local cemetery. The other 3 remained trapped until recently when the Dutch government built a dam around the wreckage, drained it and rescued the remaining 3 as they believed it was a duty of care and respect to the fallen airmen who freed them."

Our History:

“Air Hunter” small objects made to beautify the garden, but which are actually real wind turbines. Entirely built in Italy with first choice materials, our products are made of stainless steel and aluminum. The integrated ball bearings ensure a smooth prop rotation even with light breezes (360 ° swivel). Another special feature is the coloring of the surfaces. Each single print is in fact finished by hand, creating vintage shades and retouches that make it unique and unrepeatable. Air Hunter is assembled manually and with attention to detail. We supply the product already assembled, only the propeller and the aluminum shaft remain to be assembled. To put the windmill into operation, simply drive the support rod into the ground or attach it to the balcony railing with the supplied zip-ties, the wind will do the rest. To obtain maximum performance, it is advisable to position the support as perpendicular as possible to the ground itself, possibly with the aid of a level. The product is made to withstand bad weather such as intense rain and wind. It is not recommended to use it in saline environments which could compromise its performance.

When you look at our products close your eyes for a moment and imagine that they are designed, painted, assembled and packed in our family ranch, a small wooden house hidden among the trees and smelling of pine. Our air hunters are not simple wind indicators, but collectibles that will last over time and that will give an original touch to your garden.
