Aircraft history:
When it first appeared in 1939, it was a revolutionary aircraft, extremely innovative, thanks above all to the twin girder fuselage, the two Allison V-engines with turbochargers inside the tail girders and the front tricycle landing gear. The pilot sat in a large cockpit with excellent visibility, but the cockpit was hot in summer and freezing everywhere and in any season at high altitudes. The aircraft was very stable thanks to the two engines which, turning in the opposite direction, canceled the tendency to yaw, typical of single-engine propeller fighters, even if the Allison engines were delicate and not very reliable.

Our History:
“Air Hunter” small objects made to beautify the garden, but which are actually real wind turbines. Entirely built in Italy with first choice materials, our products are made of stainless steel and aluminum. The integrated ball bearings ensure a smooth prop rotation even with light breezes (360 ° swivel). Another special feature is the coloring of the surfaces. Each single print is in fact finished by hand, creating vintage shades and retouches that make it unique and unrepeatable. Air Hunter is assembled manually and with attention to detail. We supply the product already assembled, only the propeller and the aluminum shaft remain to be assembled. To put the windmill into operation, simply drive the support rod into the ground or attach it to the balcony railing with the supplied zip-ties, the wind will do the rest. To obtain maximum performance, it is advisable to position the support as perpendicular as possible to the ground itself, possibly with the aid of a level. The product is made to withstand bad weather such as intense rain and wind. It is not recommended to use it in saline environments which could compromise its performance.

Our air hunters are not simple wind indicators, but collectibles that will last over time and that will give an original touch to your garden.
