Aircraft history:

The North American F-86 Sabre, sometimes also referred to as the F-86 Sabrejet, was a swept-wing single-engine jet fighter developed by North American Aviation in the late 1940s. It was mainly used by the United States Air Force and numerous air forces of countries belonging to NATO and was used in various war operations, particularly during the Korean War where it faced for the first time in direct comparison the equal role produced by aeronautical industry of the Soviet Union, the Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-15 fighter.

The Sabre were used to form the Golden Hawks: it was an aerobatic team founded in 1959 to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the RCAF and the fiftieth anniversary of the first flight in Canada by an AEA Silver Dart in 1909. Initially the patrol was made up of six Canadair Sabre Mk 5s with a gold livery and it was planned that their performances would be held only during the celebrations of that year, but given the success achieved it was decided to continue their activity and add to the formation another plane reaching a composition of five planes plus two soloists.

Our History:

“Air Hunter” small objects made to beautify the garden, but which are actually real wind turbines. Entirely built in Italy with first choice materials, our products are made of steel and aluminum. The integrated ball bearing ensures a smooth rotation of the aircraft body even with light breezes (360 ° swivel). Another special feature is the coloring of the surfaces. Each single print is in fact finished by hand, creating vintage shades and retouches that make it unique and unrepeatable. Air Hunter is assembled manually and with attention to detail. We supply the product already assembled, only the aluminum shaft remain to be assembled. To put the windmill into operation, simply drive the support rod into the ground or attach it to the balcony railing with the supplied zip-ties, the wind will do the rest. To obtain maximum performance, it is advisable to position the support as perpendicular as possible to the ground itself, possibly with the aid of a level. The product is made to withstand bad weather such as intense rain and wind. It is not recommended to use it in saline environments which could compromise its performance.

When you look at our products close your eyes for a moment and imagine that they are designed, painted, assembled and packed in our family ranch, a small wooden house hidden among the trees and smelling of pine. Our air hunters are not simple wind indicators, but collectible that will give an original touch to your garden.
